He also successfully prosecuted defendants for homicide, armed robbery, gang crimes, criminal sexual assault, and drug crimes. He prosecuted and successfully tried a defendant affiliated with a South American drug cartel for possession with intent to deliver $150 million of cocaine (at that time the largest seizure in the history of Lake County, Illinois), attaining a guilty verdict. He successfully tried to a guilty verdict one of the earliest internet sex sting cases in Illinois. While he was an Assistant State's Attorney, the U.S. Department of Justice recognized Paul F. O'Keefe for an outstanding record in the prosecution of offenders brought to justice through the combined efforts of local law enforcement agencies and the F.B.I. Attorney Mark Erickson practices criminal law, handling felonies and misdemeanors. Prior to joining Paul F. O'Keefe, P.C., he had interned with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office Criminal Division. To schedule your consultation with our firm, contact our office.
